To replace the back shock absorbers on the Caliber, you must do the following: Remove the cover of the spare wheel. Use the TORX (star) key with the metal hinge on the plastic cover of the wing. Detach the rubber sealant around the door and remove the rear fender. It is they that secure the shock absorber. The rack is down, and at this stage, you'll need an assistant. It is necessary to remove the upper part of the shock absorber from the recorder and remove the cushioning counter together with the spring of the wheel arch (this is where assistance is needed).When the frame is removed, the prowler must be pressed into the clutres; press the special stringer to remove the top nut and remove the shock absorber. Replace the shock absorber and reassemble the cover.

  1. Remove the cover of the spare wheel.
  2. Use the TORX (asterisk) key to rotate the metal hinge on the plastic cover of the wing.
  3. Detach the rubber sealant around the luggage door and remove the rear fender cladding.
  4. Two nut clips are located underneath the sheathing. That's where they put the shock absorber.
  5. Lift the car and remove the rear wheel.
  6. Remove the nut screw of the shock absorber.
  7. Insert a piece of pipe or scrap between the levers and pressure the lever to which the shock absorber is fixed by the lower prowler, removing the bolt. The rack is down.
  8. At this point, you will need an assistant. It is necessary to remove the upper part of the shock absorber from the recorder and remove the cushioning counter together with the spring of the wheel arch (this is where assistance is needed).
  9. When the frame is removed, the bar shall be locked.
  10. Shrink the spring of special strings.
  11. Roll up the top nut and remove the shock absorber.
  12. Replace the shock absorber and reassemble everything in reverse order.

The final length of the suspension components shall be carried out when all wheels are on the ground.
