A DSG is a mechanized transmission and is a mechanical check-point with electronic control. A six-speed DSG has a multidisk clutch and a common oil system. The ATF-type oil is used as a working liquid. The working pressure of the oil on the compression of packages and the lubricant of the internal elements of the checkpoint is created by the mechanical oil pump. The oil temperature will be faster when the clutch packages are operated. There is no special procedure for the warm-up of such a box.

A seven-step DSG has separate oil volumes and dry clutch drip. The control unit is equipped with a separate leak-hermetic oil system. The oil itself is normal, transmissive. Therefore, it is recommended that this box be warm-up as the usual "mechanic". No special action required
