The vehicle has several speed sensors (a speedometer sensor), a gearbox (on some models) and wheel hub wheels (all models with ABS). Replacing all sensors is done differently.

Wheeled speed sensors are mounted on the steps with one bolts under the M5 or the M10 key (different models vary). To replace the sensor, remove the wheel, remove the bolt, and disconnect the connector, the new sensor is installed in the reverse order.

The speed sensor (speedometer) on the box is also fixed on one bolt, it is located with the left hand side of the vehicle moving closer to the middle of the lever. Automatic boxes also use Hall effect speed sensors-they are simply inserted into the intended connector. But usually the speed sensor at the checkpoint rarely needs to be replaced.
