Many drivers encounter a problem when the beep starts to work badly or stops working. As a rule, the problem is easy to solve, but it needs to be localized first.

First, if the sound signal stops functioning, you need to check the safety of the fuse that is responsible for the sound signal. The fuse needs to be checked not only visually, but also as a device, because the "thread" can remain whole, with the "top" burning.

If the safety is set, the reason for the failure of the horn is:

1. "Death" relays of the sound. To test the power of the relay, you need to measure the voltage at the outlet, which is where the wire goes to the horn itself. You need to replace the non-working relays.

2. Contact damage. Contact in the steering wheel is most often affected, as they are staggered and driven by rotation of the steering wheel. It is also worth checking the contacts directly near the dynamics (snail). As a rule, the dynamics are rather low and its contacts are subject to the aggressive environmental impact.

3. Problems with the speaker (snail). Sometimes the horn itself is out of order. This is usually associated with moisture and dirt. It doesn't make sense to remount it, it's better to just replace it.

4. Damage to a transaction. The transaction itself is rarely corrupted, but if everything else is already checked and the problem is not found, you can check the transaction.

The sound signal is an important element of safety, so, if it's stopped working, it's not worth saving for "in the long box."
