The time and impact of the environment affect the appearance of the car: the paint coating is dull, there are numerous scratches on the back of the body and glass, and no small stones and dust. Many car owners, trying to protect their cars, periodically polish the body. How long can the polish be helped? What kind of procedures are there? It's worth knowing about this car business. Varieties of car body polishing

It is known that the varnish coating protects the body of a car against corrosion. However, after the passage of time, and also under the influence of aggressive environmental factors-such as dust and small stones flying from the wheels of counter-cars-lacquer and paint on the body are covered by a network of invisible microfractures, and often visible. This, in turn, is fraught with corrosion: in the microfractures, harmful substances are downloaded, and they start the invisible process of rust on the first pores.

There are three main modes of polishing-two protective, which can insulate the surface of the car from the destructive effects of the external environment for a period of time, and a regenerative, which can "cure" paints.

The first and most common type of polishing-protective. The second type of polishing is so-called nanopolization with the use of liquid glass substances. This species is considered to be more resistant-in the polishing process, the coating interacts with varnish-level coatings, so that the nano-polishing effect can hold up to three years.

The third species is abrasive or, as it is called, the righting polish. Its purpose is to be known by the name-this variety of polishing differs from the two mentioned above that it not only protects the body of a car, but also has a righting effect on the paint coating. The process of restoring polishing is divided into several labor-intensive stages, and specialized equipment is used, so it takes more time and costs more expensive.

What kind of polishing is preferred and how is the polishing process itself?

So, what kind of polishing is needed for a specific car? The answer is quite simple: if there are no visible signs of impact on the vehicle, it is necessary to make protective polishing and keep the body of the car from external influences and aging.

In the case where the body has obvious defects and the coating itself becomes matte and dimmed, only the righting polishing with abrasive materials will help. It is a layer of paint-for the removal of the oxidation layer and the scratches are removed by layer of thickness in several microns. Of course, part of the recovery polish for the benefit of the car will not go.

In the protective polishing process, a pre-washed car is treated with epoxy resin, which forms an additional layer of protection. Epoxide resin is only one option of the protective coating. It can also be a polymer base. After the specialists have processed the body, it is necessary to wait several hours in the room at room temperature.

It should be noted that the protective polishing has a hydrophobic effect-in other words, if the vehicle gets water, it does not spread on the surface, but is collected in droplets and rolled off the body. In addition, the protective layer has antistatic properties, which makes the car less pasty. Also, protective polishing increases the brightness of the paint varnish.

The hydrophobic effect and antistatic properties are also common to nanopolish.  In the process of this variety of polishing on the body of a car a nano-component is applied, which enters into a chemical reaction with the surface of the car. This creates a resistant molecular film of several microns thick.

Finally, about the process of recovery polishing. As mentioned above, it is divided into several stages: the oxidation layer, the scratches and other defects of the coating are removed first. The body is then processed by a composition that not only protects, but also restores the surface. The restoration polishing is mainly used in the process of restoration of retro-machines or simply for old cars before sales.

Thus, the protective polishing is designed for new cars to protect them from the devastating effects of ultraviolet rays and aggressive substances that could fall into the microfractures of the paint coatings. At the same time, the protective polishing differs by the time of the effect-from 2-3 moek to 12 months.

The restoration is applied in the process of restoration or is part of the premarket preparation of old cars.
