The peculiarity of Skoda Octavia is that if the tank is caught in the cork, the adsorber will fill the tank and it will fail because its vent through the valve is unable to remove liquid gasoline from the system. The airway as a result of the adsorber fuel is severely reducing its capacity, and there are high turnover problems.

The hissing may appear after the movement at high speeds up to 70 degrees. In this case, the adsorber valve shall not be opened according to the engine control unit, and a slight depression may occur in the tank if the cork is opened immediately after the engine stops.
