Sooner or later, every motorcar has to arrange the car seat order. In the struggle against dust and dirt in the car, the vacuum cleaner is the indispensable assistant. Unlike his home "brother" he is able to work without a connection to the electric grid. However, before buying this device, the question always arises: how do you choose a car vacuum cleaner and what better to buy?

In the selection of a vacuum cleaner, attention should be paid to several basic characteristics:

  • The type of power. The vacuum cleaner can operate from its own battery, which must be charged in advance or directly from the cigarette lighter. In the first case, you get a more compact device without a cord, but it is directly dependent on battery capacity and usually does not exceed 15 -20 minutes. In the second case, you will have to accept that the vacuum cleaner consumes the energy of the car battery and is always minting the cord. In addition, car vacuum cleaners are usually larger in size.
  • Power. If you need to collect only dust, there will be quite a small vacuum cleaner by 30-50 watts, but if you are planning a general cleaning and you want to use a vacuum cleaner to save the salon from dirt, take a model with a capacity of 80 watts.
  • The cleaning type. Most car vacuum cleaners can only do dry cleaning, but some models also allow for wet cleaning (to wash floor and other surfaces in the car cabin).
  • Types of vacuum cleaners. Like conventional vacuum cleaners, the car can be equipped with different dust collection devices. Most often, it is a fabric bag that needs to be shamed after each use of a vacuum cleaner or a plastic container that needs to be removed and washed.
  • The length of the string. If you chose a vacuum cleaner that works from the cigarette lighter, make sure that the length of the cord is sufficient to cover the entire car. Optimal length of the cord for a vacuum cleaner is 3 to 5 meters.
  • Additional charges. More often than usual in a car vacuum, there are additional cleaning devices: a brush for carpets, a pinch for hard-to-reach places, a brush with a thick beard to polish the surface, and so on. Do you need these cleaning fixtures in the car dealerships?
