In the head of the Chevrolet Niva cylinder block, a system of hydraulic compensators INA is installed. Since the Chevy Niva engine is largely based on the VAZ 21213 Niva engine, hydrocompensators are not originally designed and are a late complement to the construction.

As a result, their work leaves much to be desired: they wear and start knocking even at less than 30,000 kilometres. A good alternative is to redesign the cylinder head to the old system with a regulated clearance of the valves. The result is the more stable operation of the engine for idle, vibration, and vibration during movement.
