An alternative to a volyloch is a pennylon covered with foil, which can be found in the construction shop. This material does not only hold the heat well, but it does not burn, which is very important for the comforting of the bonnet. Moreover, even when heated, it is not deformed.
After you buy a piece of the size you need, you'll need to cut a bonnet on the form. To begin with, it is necessary to outline the "hedges" on an unnecessary piece of wallpaper, and then transfer the resulting form to the pennylon. To secure the insulator under the hood, you can buy special clips in the car store.
If you do not want to insulate the hood with your hands, you can buy a finished blanket for the engine: it is made of a special non-combustible cloth and throws it on top of the entire engine compartment.
It would be worth more than a piece of pennylon, but there should be no trouble with it.
