The removal of air from the Chevrolet Cobalt hydraulic actuator shall be carried out in such a sequence: Right rear wheel; Left front wheel; Right front wheel; Right front wheel.

  • Right rear wheel
  • Left front wheel
  • Left rear wheel
  • Right front wheel.

The procedure is as follows:

(1) Clear the brake cylinder and remove protective cap.

(2) The key "on 10" (for the rear wheels) or "by 7" (for the front wheels), looses the heavy lock and put the hose on it.

(3) The other end of the hose shall be lowered to a small quantity of brake fluid.

(4) The assistant pushes the pedal 4 to 5 times and holds it down.

(5) Inverting the plaster still on the floor-it starts to flow the liquid with air bubbles.

(6) When the liquid ceases to flow, spin the connection and release the brake pedal.

(7) Repeat the procedure until the air bubbles are removed from the hose.

8) Put a protective cap on the connection and repeat the action for the rest of the wheels.
