Improper gaps in the valve mechanism may lead to a deterioration in the dynamics of the car, "shots" in silencer, engine pounding and other unpleasant consequences.

The setting shall be checked on the cold motor by measuring the gap between the actuator of the valve and the cucumper. The normal clearance for the discharge valve shall be between 0.25 and 0.35 mm and 0.15 to 0.25 to the intake capacity. The probe is carried out by the probe in the upstream roll. If the gaps are not relevant, then the valve has to be adjusted to fit the thickness. To do this, you use the formula:

N=B + A-C, where H is the thickness of the new pushrod, A is the thickness of the gap, B is the thickness of the old pushrod and C is the normal value of the gap.
