In addition to the fine cleaning fuel filter, the Jaguar X-Type gas pump module has several crude oil cleaning points. The mesh will be clogged over time. In hot weather, especially when there is little fuel in the fuel tank, the gas pump is lacking the capacity to "drive" the fuel through the broken nets, while the mesh is decimated, it only exacerbates the situation.
