Pressure relief in the Chevrolet Cobalt fuel system

To relieve the pressure in the Chevrolet Cobalt fuel system, you must:

(1) Turn off the ignition.

(2) A fuse of the fuel pump (green is left in the lower row) from the fuse box in the engine compartment.

(3) Start the motor and wait until it has run out of the fuel in the hoses and the engine stalls.

4) Add an starter for 2-3 seconds to clear the pressure.
