- It is necessary to drain the entire liquid from the steering system before starting the removal of the Tiggo gear rack.
- You will then need to install the car on the "hole" or lift it on the lift.
- Then it will be necessary to disconnect from the water-amplifier's tank from the back line and put it in the receptacle where the fluid of the hydro-amplifier has been merged.
- Then start the engine and, without touching the pedal, rotate the steering wheel left and right.
- The engine must be taken off, otherwise the pump can be affected.
- Once the liquid ceases to flow, the engine must be shut down. The car must be on the "pit" or the lift.
- The upper and lower skin of the gear rack must be removed.
- Remove connections between low and high pressure hoses.
- Remove the left and right rack bolts of the steering gear, as well as roll the bolt, which connects the left and right transverse thrust and the pivoting fist.
- The steering gear can then be removed.
