As the name of the manual gearbox is shown, the main feature is that it switches manually. Many novice drivers have difficulty switching gear (some even prefer to go directly to the machine with "machine gun"), but with experience this process is no more difficult.

It would seem that it might be easier to squeeze the clutch-to turn on the gear-to release the clutch. However, gear shifting to "mechanics" is a series of subtleties that facilitate driving and prolong the life of the gearbox.

How do you squeeze the clutch?

No matter what gear to turn on, the principle of clutch pedal is always the same: the clutch pedal must be pedal pedal until the end of the clutch. At the same time, pressing the clutch, release the gas. When the clutch pedal is released, it is possible to press the gas by lifting the engine speed (thus compensating for the loss of speed). When the clutch is released in full, you can press the gas more strongly.

If the car is moving in quiet mode and the frequent gear shift is not necessary, it is not necessary to keep the foot above the clutch. Better put your foot on the left of the clutch.

When do you switch speeds?

There is no uniform rule for switching speed for all cars, as different cars can have their own peculiarities. The averaged gearshift rules are as follows:

On the onboard computers of many modern cars there is a feature of "tips": the system tells the driver the optimal points for gearshift.

Special attention should be given to posttransmission. In most cars, the location of the postage is such that it is very difficult to turn it on "by accident" (it is sometimes necessary to do extra things to include it: press on the lever, for example). You can only turn the back on after the car stops completely. The inclusion of rear gear in motion may result in breakage of clutch and costly repair.
