It is not often necessary to change the fuel filter. The manufacturer recommends that this be done every 120,000 kilometres. Two fuel filters have been installed in the Lancer, both in the fuel tank. The first is a rough-cleaning filter, and the second is a fine filter. The first one is enough to clean the gasoline, and the second one needs to be changed. First of all, we need to remove the backseat cushion. It's enough to take it from the two sides and pull it up. Now we need to remove the sheet of noise-insulation and to roll out four swarts, holding the lug. It's going to be in the mud. The dirt needs to be cleared, the fuel pipes and the back hoses off, the six bolts on the filter perimeter. Now the knot can be reached and disassembled. The gas pump and the rough-cleaning filter need to be installed in a new fine filter and reassembled everything in reverse order.

  2. Now we need to remove the sheet of noise insulation and rotate 4 of the self-retaining lug.
  3. It'll all be in the mud. The mud should be cleared, the fuel feed pipe and the back line hose must be turned off, and 6 bolts should be turned off the filter.
  4. Now the knot can be obtained and understood.
  5. The gas pump and the rough clearance filter must be installed in the new fine filter and reassembled in reverse order.
