The DSG Gearbox is a rorbotic manual gearbox. The six-speed version is equipped with "wet" clutch, but these boxes on the seventh Passat do not. The ATF-type oil is used as a working liquid. The working pressure of the oil is created by the mechanical oil pump. The heating of the oil will be carried out faster with the work of the clutch. There is no special procedure for the warm-up of such a box.
A seven-step version has a "dry" clutch. The control unit is equipped with a separate leak-hermetic oil system. The butter, the usual, the transmission. Therefore, it is recommended that this box be warm-up as a "mechanic".
