One of the most common problems faced by car owners is a sharp fall in idle speed, after which the car swells. After that, the car is either turned on for the first time and it goes as if nothing has happened or continues to be cranky and only to start with the third and fourth try.

The reason why the VAZ car is going to stop at idle speed can be a lot, exact "diagnosis" can only be delivered after a full diagnosis. But a couple of possible reasons why the car's going to go on idling, you can check it yourself. Note that for carburetor and injectors, the reasons may be quite different.

Why do you stop on single VAZ with a carburetor?

In the case of a VAZ carburetor, the reason is that it stalls directly in the carburetor. The most common problem is that the carburetor has scored. You might try to wash it with a special solvent or aerosol that is sold in any auto shop.

In addition, it is worth checking whether the fuel filter or the filter fuel pump inlet is blocked.

Another "weak link" in the fuel delivery system of the carbamant VAZ-hoses and other rubber parts. If the rubber bands have not changed for many years, they are likely to break away from the inside and to sort out the fuel with extra debris.

If the carburetor is idle at idling speed, it is also necessary to check the idling fuel kiln, as it is responsible for stable idling speed. Over time, the housing will be clogged, so it should be taken from time to time to produce compressed air, rinour with solvent or gasoline.

If the housing manipulation did not help, perhaps the problem with the electromagnetic valve. To verify that it is working, turn on the ignition, reset the wire, and then plug it in again with a proper click on the non-recoverable electromagnetic valve. If you did not click, check the voltage. If a tell-lamp on the panel catches fire, it's a sign of breakage of the electromagnetic valve.

The reason why VAZ's carburetor may be idle may also be a malfunction of one of the main engine sensors. The test should start with the idling sensor, the mass flow sensor, the throttle position sensor and the colenwall position sensor.

Why is it stalls on the VAZ with the injector

In the case of VAZ injection models, they also have many reasons why the car is stalls at idle. The most frequently used test is the idling control, as it is the stability of idle speed.

In addition, the perpetrators of the car's stalls may be a mass air flow sensor or a throttle position sensor.

Another reason why the VAZ with the injector is absorbed at idle speed is the insufficient fuel pressure on the ramp or the air pump. It shall be verified that all connections and components of the fuel system are correct and leakproof and the normal flow of petrol does not cause, for example, the filter or the grid of the pump.

If everything is in order, the ignition system should be checked first, candlelight.

To get rid of the problem, many car owners are also advised to clear the throttle, but the clear usefulness of this procedure has not been proven. There is no guarantee that after this the VAZ will not stop conglomerate at idle, but there will be no extra procedure.

If all of the above has not produced results, it is not necessary to change everything in a row. It is better not to turn to the service where the cause of the failure will be determined faster and more accurately. The same should be done if you are not sure about your knowledge and skills to correct the problem yourself.
