The story of the show. Appointment

Many elderly motorists remember perfectly well how, protecting from stealing the wheels of their precious "Chaek" and "Zhiguigi", asked a familiar tokarya to tell them in the factory the secret bolts, the secret bolts, to install them on the wheels of the car. These devices, which appeared in the early 1970s, had a cunning construction-a cylindrical bolt-head with a pin removed from the axis. The unscrew of the secret bolts was only one key, which was also on the lathe. Such protection was at the time the only secret device-the secret buttons appeared later, and the various "smart signaling" began to be installed only in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and then abroad.

At present there are a number of electronic secret systems designed to protect the car from theft. Most commonly used: a secret button, a biometric system, and an anti-theft chair. All devices shall be connected to the engine by the wires on which the signal is transmitted.

The devices and the principle of their work. Advantage and disadvantages

Even now, when the auto market is offering a great assortment of latest technological advances in the field of car protection, secret bolts and nuts are widely used by owners of domestic cars and foreign cars. However, today we don't have to look for familiar experienced tokarya-just to go to a specialized shop and buy a set of bolts, nuts and special keys to them. A secret bolt on each wheel is only one-that's enough. The length of the latter shall be the length of the normal bolts or bolts intended for the cast discs (tolerance of + 1/-1 mm). The bolt is too long to come into contact with the hub or to catch the brake drum, and too short a risk will be lost on the road. Enforce a secret bolt with less effort to avoid damaging the individual carving. It is desirable to lubricate the graphite grease-this should be done in order to avoid the metal oxide from the interaction with the road reagents. When the individual key is lost, it is necessary to turn to a good car assembly where the bolt can be cut neatly without damaging the wheel details or the disc.

The secret button is a proven effective system for the protection of auto theft auto. The principle is simple: a combination of several buttons is used to enable or disable the alarm. If the combination is invalid or not entered at all, the engine is blocked. That is, even if the hijacker has a key and a keychain, the car won't be locked up anyway. Any staffing buttons and switches may be used as "secret". Sometimes keys in unexpected or hard-to-reach locations are used to minimize the hijacker's actions. You can install additional buttons, herbals (contactless leak-proof sensors that react to heat, light or motion), magnets-everything depends on the level of professionalism and ingenuity of the master. Wire, connecting the top of the secret button to the engine, turns a metallized ribbon and skillfully cloaking into the regular wiring or securely masking. The search for a secret button (and the more wires) is time-consuming even for a specialist, so the robbers prefer not to have such a system. Besides, the external operation of the device looks like the usual fault of the car-does not start the engine, battery or something. The secret button operates independently of other types of car alarm and may well supplement them. In the event of a failure of the secret system and the need to take the car to the maintenance station, there is a special function called "autoservice" button or a combination of keys that temporarily turn off the work of "secret" at a certain time.

The biometric system recognizes the owner of his personal data-fingerprints, voice, iris, or retinal eyes. The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the doorknobs of the wires-first to the computer and from it to the engine. If the owner is not identified, the door simply won't open. The small window of the scanner can also be located on the dashboard: it is necessary to attach a finger to the glass to start the engine. The retina scan (s) and voice recognition sensors for convenience are set slightly higher. Principle: Data is read and recognized, the system reacts by the launch or the locking of the engine. Modern biometric systems are capable of protecting and from the robbery. The "disturbing finger" option will not allow the criminal to go far away in a stolen vehicle. After the owner has the finger on the scanner, the engine will start, but it only works for a few minutes. The unsuspecting hijacker makes the owner leave the car and manages to get a short distance. Then the engine stops working, the car stops, the occupant's doors are blocked-the owner is only left to call the police and report the culprit caught in the trap. In 2010, the Taiwan University presented an anti-theft biometric technology, working through a system of reading the individual rhythm of the human heart. Special sensors are installed on the door handles that read "electrocardiogram" from the owner's hand.

The protective chair is one of the newest and most interesting developments of Japanese scientists. It is a kind of modification of the biometric system. 360 pressure sensors, which are very close to the surface of the chair, remove information about the weight of the person and the mass distribution of the body in the area of contact. Such data are unique to each individual. The information is then passed from the sensors to the computer that produces a three-dimensional image. The system sums up the data and identifies the key points on which the driver will be identified. The probability of identification of the vehicle's antitheft chair is 98%. However, there is one feature that speaks against the use of such chairs. The fact is that after eating the body weight distribution can change. The weight of the body may also increase. The system is limited to a small variation of 2 to 3 kg. The opposite effect can result in intense sports training and a subsequent hike to the sauna: the accelerated metabolic metabolic and the abundant sweating can reduce the body weight for a while.
