Most drivers admit that the automatic gearbox is simpler and more convenient than "mechanics" (some even go to the school to study at the ACPR, so that they do not suffer too much in the training and examination process). However, in order to operate the ACPT correctly and without difficulty, it must be dealt with in its regimes. Major regimes of NPP
Major regimes of NPP
D (Drive, Drive) This is the main mode for moving the car from the ACPR, it should be included before moving and going forward. Before moving, move the selector to position D and wait for the transmission of the gearbox after this.
P (Parking, Parking). It shall be used only for parking or warm-up, before driving. Many novice motorists believe that the gearbox is equivalent to a handbrake, but it is not. If you park on an angle of 5 or more degrees, you should put the car on the brake. Otherwise, if the gradient is too high, the output shaft of the box will simply be blocked. You cannot turn on P during movement. Also, do not set P in traffic or traffic lights.
R (Reverse, Reverc). This mode is used for reversing. It cannot be included in the forward movement. To enable R mode, you must wait for the car to stop completely.
N (Neutral, Neutral). This regime is equivalent to a neutral gear at a mechanical checkpoint. In this position, there is no communication between the input and output shaft of the gearbox, with the vehicle being able to move. If it is necessary to tow a car with ACPR, this should be done in neutral. It is not necessary to turn on the N mode when stopping at a traffic light or in traffic. Also, you can't move the coast to neutral.
2. In this mode, the vehicle can only move by 1 and 2. Mode 2 is usually used in traffic jams or in difficult road conditions (for more efficient engine braking). Switching to mode 2 at a speed above 80 km/h is prohibited.
L or 1. In this mode, the car only moves in 1 gear. This mode can only be enabled at speeds up to 40 km/h. Its main purpose is difficult road conditions (snow, off-road, steep gradients).
Additional modes of operation of the NPP
Different modes can have different gears. Consider the most important of these.
NORM (ECO, Eco-Mode). This mode is used to reduce fuel consumption: gear is switched to the point of maximum economy, which provides the easing of the move.
PWR (Power). In this mode the engine power shall be used for the maximum. The electronics are switching gear at maximum speed, with high acceleration acceleration.
SNOW. The so-called "winter" mode of the ACPR, in which the car is moved from the second gear.
MANU (Manual, manual mode). In this mode, you can switch gear manually. Manual mode can be used for both off-road or mountain road and for more efficient overtaking.
