There may be many reasons why the motor of the car may not be driven. One of them is a malfunction of the ignition coil. If the knee and the starter are spinning, but there's no spark and engine starting, there's a great possibility that the problem is in the ignition. The misfiring can be verified on its own.

The ignition coil fails normally without warning: no symptoms occur before it is broken.

To test the ignition coil, it needs to be removed. It is under the hood and is suitable for thick high voltage wires. The first thing to do is disable the power of the battery. Then remove the wires and unroll the coil. Does not interfere with checking whether the cables are firmly seated in the coil: there may be no contact.

A tester (multimeter) with an ometer function is required to test the ignition coil.

To test the primary coil of the ignition coil, the "prodders" of the tester should be connected to the side conclusions on the ignition coil. The resistance that is displayed on the instrument screen shall correspond to the factory indicators. If it is much higher, it probably means the coil coil is damaged.

To verify the integrity of the secondary coils of the reel, one "probe" of the multimeter should be connected to the side inference and the second one to the central. In this case, the resistance will be measured in kilo omits. It should also correspond to the manufacturer's stated parameters.

A defective ignition coil is not repaid; it will have to be replaced.
