The word of the parktroick has already appeared in Russian and has become negative. The fact is that the first devices established in Russia were produced by the company "Parktronick". In the whole world, such a device is called parking radar or Parkingassist as an assistant in the parking lot. Appointment

Of course, this is the invention of the drivers who are in the city. A man may not always be able to notice any obstructing objects, whether it be a pole, a curb or another vehicle. To help in this situation, and comes the parktronik, which gives clues about the presence of cars on the way of the car.
Parking sensors were invented by observing the bats, which are moving in space according to the echo principle. The first paratroopers appeared on Audi's cars. Actually, the engineers of the German mark and created this device.
First, only some modifications of the BMW, Audi and Mercedes luxury models were provided. However, now that production has been well developed, such a system as an option, as well as in basic picking, is equipped with many budget cars.
Activity Device and Principle
The parktronic consists of an electronic block, ultrasound sensors and an indication device (LED or liquid crystal display), as well as a zummer (audio alert).
As mentioned earlier, the parktrok works on the principle of echo. Through sensors, the system sends an ultrasonic pulse that is returned to the surrounding objects. The computer calculates the time for which the ultrasonic wave has reached the foreign object and is back, and it calculates the distance. Such requests are sent from all sensors installed on the vehicle in turn, and the computer alerts the driver about the danger by the sound of the zummer and the indication device. In some modifications, the parser is connected to a camera whose image is displayed on the display or in the rearview mirror.
When the distance between the car and the obstacle decreases, the zummer starts to squeate more often. It works at a distance of about two meters from interference, and when approaching 30 centimeters, its signal becomes continuous.
The sensors themselves are attached to the front and rear bumpers (ploughing or glued).
In vehicles equipped with sensors in the rear only, the driver starts working with the rear transmission. In this case, its electrical power may be connected to the electrical chain of reversing lamps. On vehicles equipped with front sensors, the parking radar reconnaissance radar is finding the situation when the vehicle is moving at a speed of less than 20 km/h. In some models, the system may be turned off, for example, for off-road use.
Varieties
Parking systems have a mass of modifications. Their main difference in the number of ultrasound sensors and their location.
The simplest design is equipped with just two sensors on the rear bumper of the machine. It is activated by turning on the back gear.
The most common systems are the four sensors. On the bumper they are placed at a distance of about 30 centimeters apart. This number of sensors avoids the emergence of dead zones.
Some modifications of the parkronics have additional sensors, which are located on the sides of the car.
There are parking systems where sensors are replaced by an electromagnetic feed. This tape is attached to the bumpers. It benefits from the difference between the appearance of the vehicle and the appearance of the car. For the first time such tapes were developed and used by Audi. The principle of their action is not very different from ultrasonic perfumers. Thanks to the tape, the rear or the front of the car, an electromagnetic field is created. Any object that appears in the area of the field changes his resistance, which informs the driver. This modification is most popular in the countries of Europe and America, and in Russia Russia has more confidence in the ultrasound version.
Usually, the units of indication and control of the parqutroics are connected by wire. However, the wireless connection is also used by means of transmission of radio signals from one unit to another.
Another "convenient" feature of some parking systems is the presence of a button that can be turned off by the system. This is necessary, for example, in a traffic jam, when the driver is in perfect control of the situation, and the hourly signal of the parktronik only irritates him. The parktronic can be used effectively at a distance from 25 cm to 2.5 m. The sensitivity of the installed sensors depends on the cost and quality of the acquired device. More expensive parctrims react to objects at a distance of 50 cm, more expensive options-10 cm.
In addition, innovative parking systems are proliferating in the second decade of the twentieth century. Such parkatroopers may not only detect interference, but also calculate the right trajectory of the car, and even turn the steering wheel on its own. The driver's actions in the parking lot with such a device are limited to pedals.
